MAGNETIC HOLDING FORCE TESTING PROCEDURE

TESTING PREPARATION
#TEST MACHINE:
Holding Force Gauge consists of three parts, Pull-Push Strength Calculator (a),
Suction Chuck (b) and Mounting Bracket and bed plate (c).
Suction Chuck is made of steel with dia 35.7mm and 5mm thick

#TEST SAMPLE:
Flexible Magnets, which length and width should be bigger than 35.7mm


Step 1:
Stick a adhesive tape on the back of sample’s testing side
(non-magnetized side), the adhesive size should be bigger
than 35.7x35.7mm, and stick well without bubbles.

Step 2:
Lift the Suction Chuck. Peel of the adhesive liner and stick
the sample firmly under the Suction Chuck.

Step 3:
Zero the Gauge firstly. Lower the Suction Chuck to stick
on the testing sample (There is some point on Gauge
after sticking, DONOT zero it.)

Step 4:
Lift the Suction Chuck gently until the sample separate with
the Suction Chuck. Gauge reading multiply 100 is the testing
data, unit is g/cm2. Test three times to get the average.
