Flexible NdFeB magnet introduction and performance sheet

The third generation of rare earth permanent magnet NdFeB is the most powerful permanent magnet in contemporary magnets. Its BHmax is 5-12 times higher than ferrite magnet and 3-10 times higher than al-ni-co magnet. Its coercivity is 5-10 times higher than ferrite magnet and 5-15 times higher than aluminum-nickel-cobalt magnet.


Because the cost of iron the main raw material of NdFeB's is low, and the the reserves of rare earth neodymium is 10 to 16 times more than rare-earth Samarium, so its price is also much lower than samarium-cobalt magnet.


NdFeB performs mechanically better than samarium cobalt magnets and aluminum-nickel-cobalt magnets, making it easier to cut and drill holes and process complex shapes.


NdFeB has the disadvantage of poor temperature resistance and high magnetic losses when used at high temperatures. Generally about 80 degrees Celsius, after special treatment, NdFeB maximum working temperature can reach 200 degrees Celsius.
